Difficulty: Easy
Trailhead: 1.6 mile up Right Hand Fork in Logan Canyon , stay to the left at the first junction and follow the Willow Creek trail—GPS: N41°46′656″ W111°37′164″
Elevation Start/Gain: 5600 feet/1000 feet
Route: "This is a beautiful part of the mountains at lower elevation, and one can do this hike sometimes in April, but most certainly in May, and it is only a short drive up Logan Canyon."
Follow the Willow Creek trail, past the mouth of Ricks Canyon. "Continue following the creek... eastward [0.8 mile].... The Willow Creek trail [turns] left (northward). Go up the Willow Creek trail for another 0.8 mile to the big switchback.... Leave the trail at the bend, and follow a faint trail... northwest which... passes between two prominent hills... through an area of aspen groves and meadows."
