Hansen Pond Trail

Trail Length: 0.42 mile one way
Difficulty: Easy
Trailhead: Follow the directions to the trailheads of Bear Hollow and Blind Hollow trails
Elevation Start/Gain: 7700 feet/350 feet
Route: Follow the Blind Hollow trail "to Long Meadow at 7700 feet; here, look for a trail to Hansen Pond and Bear Hollow that goes north (right) from the main trail." The Hansen Pond trail connects Blind Hollow with Bear Hollow.
Don't worry if you don't happen to see the actual pond. In the late summer and early fall, the pond is virtually non-existent to the unassuming. You may confuse the pond with a large mud puddle.
At the top of the trail, you'll intersect with the Bear Hollow trail. Look back toward the south to view parts of Blind Hollow.
