Trail Number: 051

Trail Length: 3.8 miles one way

Difficulty: Moderate

Trailhead: 20 miles up Logan Canyon to a parking area on the right (east) side of the highway 0.5 mile past the Tony Grove Lake turnoff. The trail starts across the road 100 yards south of the parking area and behind the highway guardrail. There is an old gate where the trail starts.

Elevation Start/Gain: 6320 feet/1380 feet

Route: "This route provides easy to moderate hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain biking and horse riding from the Logan Canyon Road. Most of the trails here are old wagon roads, with occasional steep and rocky sections....

"The White Pine Creek Trail is reached after 3.8 miles.... [You] have the option to return down Bunchgrass trail, continue west... up White Pine Creek Trail to White Pine Lake or Tony Grove, or head east on the trail at White Pine Creek to Franklin Basin and Steam Mill trailhead. The trail to Franklin Basin may be [indistinct] due to numerous cattle paths and infrequent use."
