Bridger Look-off
Trail Length: 0.8 mile one way
Difficulty: Easy
Trailhead: Follow the River Trail east past 2nd Dam—the Bridger Look-off Trail forks to the right or follow the Spring Hollow trail south past Crimson trailhead—the Bridger Look-off Trail forks to the right (GPS: N41°44′51.04″ W111°44′7.11″)
Elevation Start/Gain: 4900 feet/400 feet
Route: This trail forks from River Trail (east of the switchbacks) and Spring Hollow trail (above the campground). "The trail parallels the Logan River along the... hillside before it [turns] south-easterly, mostly upward in elevation... into the well-shaded depths of Spring Hollow. "
When you near the curve of the hollow the trail turns east, passing under a large downed tree. In the fall wild apples are visible, growing near the broken tree stump. The trail then climbs a bit and circles back to the north. The trail turns east again at a huge rockslide and descends steeply into Spring Hollow Campground.
