Trail Number: 702

Trail Length: 4.3 miles one way

Trailhead: Follow the directions to reach the Steam Mill Hollow or Steep Hollow trailheads

Route: "This is a pleasant, short hike that climbs into Steam Mill Hollow, from there rounds Steam Mill Peak and continues north for about three miles, and then descends down Steep Hollow.... The trip necessitates a car shuttle... at the Steep Hollow turnoff from the Franklin Basin Road.... Without a car shuttle, it is a three-mile hike back to the Steam Mill trailhead."

The cut-off begins "across the stream to the right (northeast) about 100 yards beyond the boiler [on the Steam Mill trail]. The trail is faint and heads back along the stream to the east through a sagebrush meadow. "
