Trail Length: 3 miles one way (along the ridge between Green and Logan canyons)

Difficulty: Moderate

Trailhead: Wind Cave Trailhead across Hwy 89 from Guinavah-Malibu Campground (GPS: N41°45'747" W111°42'212") or Preston Valley Trailhead in Green Canyon

Elevation Start/Gain: 7400 feet (at ridge)/1600 feet

Route: Follow the Wind Cave Way trail to reach the trail to Beirdneau Peak. "To go to Beirdneau Peak along the ridge,... look for the trail just off the ridgetop on the [west, sometimes] indistinct in places, but generally [visible]. After 2.0 miles, the trail comes to the saddle below Beirdneau Peak. Here, the trail skirts along the south and east of Beirdneau Peak to avoid the 600-foot climb to the summit. Observant hikers are rewarded with a view of a small rock arch above the trail. The energetic may choose to continue north along the ridge toward upper Green Canyon."
